About the role

At Charity Rocket, we help nonprofits grow their digital presence and propel their impact by supporting their vision and causes (environmental protection, poverty reduction, women’s support, immigration and refugee services, and so much more).

During this 2-month internship, you’ll discover how Google Ads, digital tools and artificial intelligence can make a real difference in helping these organizations achieve their mission.

  • Full-time

  • 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
  • Remote (first week on-site)

  • Two possible cohorts:

    • May 18 → July 10
    • June 29 → August 21

Your mission – The Digital Marketing Intern’s role

  • Create and optimize Google Ads campaigns
    • Perform Keyword research
    • Create Ad copywriting
    • Analyze KPI to guide performance
  • Contribute to AI initiatives
    • Building datasets for text analysis, trend detection and tool optimization
    • Validating outputs generated by AI tools
  • Make concrete and strategic recommendations for our clients

  • Meta Ads
  • Content creation, graphic design
  • Website development
  • Social media management
  • SEO
  • And more

You’re a great fit if…

  • You have a strong interest in digital marketing, data, and AI
  • You have experience with Google Ads
  • You have an analytical mindset, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills
  • You communicate clearly, verbally and in writing (both French, and English is an asset)
  • You like to take initiative
  • You are curious and eager to learn
  • You want to use your skills to support meaningful causes

  • First week of onboarding in person at UQAM (Montreal), then remote

This internship is part of the Canada Summer Jobs program. To be eligible, you must be between 15 and 30 years old at the start of employment, be legally authorized to work in Canada, and have a valid Social Insurance Number. During the internship, you must not hold another job. International students with a study permit are not eligible (please see our other opportunities here).
